CHiQ Launches New Online Stores on AliExpress with Its First Live Streaming for France Market

BERLIN, Oct. 26, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Changhong Group's CHiQ ("the brand") announced todaythat it has opened its online stores on AliExpress, a global retail online marketplace part of  Alibaba Group, aiming to expand its online retail channels in Europe. The new stores for France and Spain markets allow customers in these two countries to purchase CHiQ's latest products, including TV sets and refrigerators, by visiting the AliExpress' platform.




The Covid-19 pandemic has also boosted the growth of the stay-at-home economy, driving people's demand for entertainment and home products, including TV, refrigerators, PC monitors and robot vacuum cleaner, while increasing the ratio of online shopping. Against this backdrop, CHiQ has chosen AliExpress, which operates in 18 languages and covers more than 200 countries and regions, as a channel to meet the demands of European customers.

With the plan of bringing portable air conditioners to the platform, CHiQ will introduce its entire home appliances' product line-up to AliExpress for consumers in Europe. Following the cooperation, the brand is set to introduce more products to more countries by leveraging AliExpress' digital assets and services.

CHiQ held its first virtual event on AliExpress forFrench consumersthrough a live-streaming session on Oct 22. It is an innovative form of e-commerce that provides viewers with an immersive and interactive shopping experience. Fuelled by influencers, this new online-only shopping format has gained vast popularity among customers in France over the past few years.

During the live-streaming session, CHiQ's staff invited the audience on a tour to Changhong's CHiQ Smart TV Showroom, Smart Information IoT Factory and Precision Electronic Technology Factory. The tour showcased CHiQ's latest innovations, including the technology for television manufacturing, smart logistics, and big data analytics dashboard, with which Changhong has achieved an all-around upgrade from a traditional factory to a smart factory.
